Refund policy

At Tavolinn, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of the furniture and décor we design and curate. Each product is carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure it reaches you in excellent condition.

However, if you encounter any issue with your order, our team will assist you in resolving it as smoothly as possible. Please review the policy below before placing an order.

 

1. ORDER CANCELLATION

  • Orders may be cancelled only before they are dispatched.
  • To request a cancellation, please contact our customer support team at [EMAIL ADDRESS] with your order number and order details.
  • Once an order has been processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled or modified.
  • For customized or made-to-order products, cancellations may not be permitted once production has begun.

 

2. RETURN ELIGIABLITY

Returns are accepted only in the following circumstances:

  • The product arrives damaged during transit
  • The product has a manufacturing defect
  • An incorrect product was delivered

To qualify for a return:

  • The request must be raised within the specified return window
  • The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
  • All original packaging, tags, accessories, and documentation must be intact
  • Proof of purchase must be provided

Tavolinn reserves the right to verify and approve return requests after reviewing the details provided.

 

3. RETURN REQUEST TIMEFRAME

Return requests must be raised within the following timeframe:

Furniture

  • Within 48 hours of delivery

Decor Accessories / Botanics

  • Return requests must also be raised promptly upon delivery if the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
  • Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for return or replacement.

To initiate a return, please email tavolinn.home@gmail.com with:

  • Order number
  • Product details
  • Clear photos or videos of the issue
  • A brief description of the concern

 

4. RETURN PROCESS

Once a return request is received:

  1. Customers must provide clear images or videos of the issue while submitting the return request.
  2. If the return is approved, a pickup will be arranged within approximately 3 business days through our logistics partner.
  3. Customers must make the product available for pickup within 7 days of approval. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the return request.
  4. Our team will review the request and may ask for additional information if required.

All returned items undergo a quality inspection before a refund or replacement is approved.

 

5. REFUND POLICY

If a return request is approved and the product passes inspection:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment used during checkout.
  • Refund processing may take up to 10 business days after approval.
  • The actual credit timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

6. REPLACEMENT & EXCHANGE

If a product is damaged, defective, or incorrect, Tavolinn may offer:

  • Replacement of the same product, or
  • Repair of the product, or
  • Refund, depending on the nature of the issue and product availability.

Exchanges for design preference, color choice, change of mind, no longer needed may not be accepted.

 

7. NON- RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are not eligible for returns or refunds:

  • Made-to-order or customized furniture
  • Products purchased during sale, clearance, or promotional offers
  • Items that have been used, assembled, installed, or modified
  • Products returned without original packaging or tags
  • Products damaged due to improper handling after delivery

 

8. NATURAL MATERIAL VARIATIONS

Many Tavolinn products are made using natural materials and handcrafted techniques.

Therefore, the following are not considered defects:

  • Variations in wood grains, knots, and textures
  • Minor differences in finish, polish, or natural markings
  • Slight variations in color due to lighting or screen settings

Returns will not be accepted for such natural variations.

 

9. CATEGORY-SPECIFIC EXCLUSIONS

Furniture

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Natural wood grain variations
  • Minor size or finish variations unless inconsistent with product specifications

Botanics

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Natural plants
  • Minor color or material variations
  • Flowerpot leakages due to handling

Decor Accessories

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Loose or cut threads in fabric items
  • Cushion products
  • Vintage items with natural finish variations

 

10. RETURN SHIPPING

  • If the return is due to damage, defect, or incorrect product delivered, Tavolinn will arrange the return pickup and cover the shipping cost.
  • Returns requested for other reasons, if approved, may require the customer to bear return shipping charges.

Original shipping charges (if applicable) may be non-refundable.

 

11. ORDER ACCEPTANCE & PRODUCT ACCURACY

Placing an order on the Tavolinn website does not constitute final acceptance of the order. Tavolinn reserves the right to accept, reject, or cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock availability, or verification issues.

While we strive to display products accurately, minor variations in color, texture, or finish may occur due to natural materials or screen differences.

 

12. FRAUD PREVENTION & MISUSE

Tavolinn reserves the right to reject returns or suspend services in cases of:

  • Fraudulent return claims
  • False or misleading information
  • Abuse or misuse of the return policy
